Hello,
Can someone tell me what feature must be licensed in
order to use the 'Logical Server' object in a policy?
I am currently setting up an architecture with one
management console and two filtering modules. In my
rulebase, I have one rule which enables load balancing
between two mail servers, this rule has a 'Logical
Server' object in the destination field.
When I try to load this policy on the filtering
modules, the folowing message appears:
"fw : No license for logical server services". The
policy is loaded successfully, but when i try to
telnet to port 25 on the logical server's address,
nothing happens.
If I delete the rule with the Logical Server in it,
and reload the policy, the message does not appear.
The license on the filtering module contains only the
'pfm25' feature.
If I use an evaluation license which has all features
enabled ('controlx oseu motif embedded srunlimit ram1
skip isakmp manualipsec des'), and load the policy
with the logical server rule, it works OK: when i
telnet to port 25 on logical server's address, I get a
reply from one of the two smtp servers.
What feature should I ask to my VAR ? I looked on
phoneboy's site at a document called 'anatomy of a
license' but did not find anything on 'logical
servers' ...
Thanks to everyone who can answer me.
