if your sure the software/server you are using does transparent proxying,
then you
could set up nat to redirect any outgoing port 80 request, to the IP of
the transparent proxy.. so your using nat to channel packets to
the proxy device based on destination port number.
CLIENT-------->FW1---->BIG BAD INTERNET
|
|
TRANSPARENT WEB PROXY
so, adding the nat rules should be okay, I'm shooting from the hip on this
one,
anyone care to 'enlighten me'....this should work..I think...I dunno...
:-(.

the situation here is we wants our staff here to surf internet thru' ours
proxy
server. regardless of which proxy setting in their Internet browsers. I
belive
we can use the checkpoint FW to redirect the http and proxy traffic to this
proxy server, but just don't manage to get it work, do you got any idea how
should I configure the policy??
