I'm trying to use the network monitoring package, Spectrum, to keep
statistical information about the traffic going through FW-1. This is
on a Solaris 2.7 system, FW-1 version 4.0.

The FW-1 snmpd is running. However, when I try to query it I get the
following information for the Object identifier:

system.sysObjectID.0 = OID: .ccitt.nullOID

The $FWDIR/conf/snmpd.C file has the following information:

              : (system.sysObjectID.0
                        :value
(.iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.checkpoint.products.fw)

However, whenever I try to save the SNMP information from the network object
for the
firewall gateway it replaces it with:

              : (system.sysObjectID.0
                        :value (.ccitt)

So where does this ObjectID information get stored? And how can I change
it?

        Thanks,
        Frank
