You merely need to make a rule that allows the OSPF tcp port between the
hosts that need to communicate.
I have done this several times with EBGP peering and OSPF also.

Haven't done it with RIP (yuck!)

Hi all,

We are running fw-1 4.1 on nokia ip650 and I was wondering what rules one
needs to enable ospf. However we don't want to receive ospf routes from just
anyone, we want to be able to broadcast routes and receive routes from three
specific routers.

I already looked in the nokia knowledge base and it says you need two rules
like this

from to service
action
any ospf mulicast networks ospf
accept
                +
                firewalls

First of all this seems only one rule to me, and what if I only want to
accept routes from specific sources?

Any help would be apreciated.
