Joe,

I tried your trick. I turn off the "Resolve Addresses" option from the
logviewer, log off, login again. The phenomena persist.
The error: "Slow response from server. Abort?"

Any other idea?

Turn off name resolution in options and reload the log viewer.. it should be
a bit better.
