>
>Comcast @Home is making certain revisions to the Comcast @Home Subscriber
Agreement (the "Agreement") in accordance with Section 11(b) of the Agreement.
You received a copy of the Agreement when you were connected to the Comcast
@Home service. The changes to the Agreement described herein do not affect the
monthly rates for the Service or the content of the Service.
>
>A complete copy of the revised Agreement can be found at the link entitled
"Subscriber Agreement" located at http://www.comcastonline.com beginning
Monday, August 14, 2000. The Agreement is currently marked to show all of the
revisions described herein.
>
>Below is a summary of the principal changes to the Agreement. As the
information presented below is only a summary of the principal changes, you are
encouraged to review the entire text of the revised Agreement at the website
link above.
>
>Section 1. Equipment. This section has been modified to address situations in
which the Customer has purchased rather than rented a cable modem, and the
connection of such purchased cable modem to the Service. A provision has been
added allowing Comcast and/or @Home Network to upgrade the software if the
cable modem purchased by the Customer and connected to the Service. In
addition, this section has been modified to adjust Comcast's liability for
damage to Customer Equipment.
>
>Section 2. Installation and Use. This section has been modified to allow the
Customer to self-install certain Comcast-supplied equipment or other
third-party equipment (where available) in accordance with the instructions of
Comcast or the third party. In addition, this section limits Comcast's
liability with respect to such self-installation.
>
>Section 3. Limited Warranty. This section has been modified to clarify
Comcast's procedures for crediting the Customer in the event of interruption
of the Service.
>
>Section 4. Payment Terms. This section has been modified to clarify Comcast's
billing practices relating to the Service. Provisions have been added whereby
the Customer is required to provide updated credit card or debit card
information upon expiration of the card on file with Comcast or in the event of
insufficient funds relating to such card.
>
>Section 6. Prohibited Uses of the Service. This section specifies that use of
the Service in conjunction with a VPN (Virtual Private Network) or a VPN
Tunneling Protocol is a prohibited use of the Service. The applicability of
the @Home Network Acceptable Use Policy to the Service has also been clarified.
>
>Section 7. Termination. This section has been modified to clarify the
Customer's obligations upon termination of the Service. In addition, a section
has been added further clarifying Comcast's right to refer the Customer's
account to a collection agency upon termination of the Service in the event of
a balance due or unreturned equipment.
>
>Section 9. Service Characteristics. This section has been modified to further
explain the risks related to file and print sharing associated with the
Internet.
>
>Section 10. Limitation of Liability. This section has been modified to
clarify that the installation of an Ethernet card required to use the Service
may invalidate warranties governing the Customer Equipment, and that Comcast
shall have no liability for such invalidation.
>
>Section 11. Miscellaneous. This section has been modified to provide the
Customer with the website link containing the entire Agreement and the certain

email address lists to be used by Comcast and the @Home Network for certain
notices sent by Comcast to the Customer using electronic mail.
>
>Please be advised that the revised Agreement will become effective September
15, 2000. With respect to all customers, if you continue to subscribe to the
Service on or after September 15, 2000, you shall be deemed to have accepted
the revised Agreement. If you have any questions regarding the revised
