[FW1] OSPF, GateD, and FW1

Does anyone have any suggestions or tips on setting up GateD on Solaris 2.6 for running OSPF, *and* making it work with FW1?  I have a basic implementation with one OSPF area in the gated.conf file and a rule allowing authorized routers to send their routing updates to the Solaris machine (firewall).  This seems to work but I want to make sure that this is the best and most secure solution.   Thanks in advance for any help,   Dan
