If you have WINS running, make sure you have WINS configured for the client
machine. That was the one thing that always tripped us up when we were
first getting our setup configured.

Subject: [FW1] mapping drives

<< File: Card for Chad Graham >> Hi all,

We are running CKPFW 4.0 on a Solaris 2.6 workstation. I am
trying to configure Secure Remote Build 4003 running on a Win 95
laptop. We only have a 30 day eval license ( have to prove it works
before they will buy it). My question is, how do I map a network drive
after connecting. I am able to connect just fine, I can ping the NT
servers, I just cant map any of their drives. I have tried this through
Win Explorer and command line "net use". I keep getting the error
"computer name specified in the network path cannot be located".
All services work correctly for the Unix side of things. Any hints
would be appreciated.

TIA

Chad Graham
