Hi All,

Has anyone had this problem?

I was in policy editor (on Solaris 7 Management Station) and I added a user
then added the new user to a group and clicked the INSTALL button. This
worked, and then 5 minutes later I tried to add an existing user to the same
group, clicked install, and got a failure. I then tried to install the
policy and the policy compiled okay but when the management station tried to
push the policy to the Nokia I got message "Failed to install security
policy on fw. Resource temporarily unavailable." I found that I could no
longer access the Nokia via ping, telnet, etc. The system status showed a
yellow ?. The Nokia itself had all the interface lights flashing as usual,
but users were getting dropped so the Nokia was effectively down.

I powered the Nokia off and back on and everything was okay again.
/var/logs/messages and fw.log on the Nokia shows nothing. Nokia support says
I will not see anything in these files because no traffic was being passed
through the interfaces. I would think I could look someplace to see what
happened to the Nokia. Does anyone know?

Thanks,
Chris.
