We are running on an eval license of FW 4.1 as we wait for our Nokia to be
shipped. We are trying to get secure remote to work between win9x and winnt
clients and our FW 4.1 eval version running on NT. We can get the Win9x
clients to work and browse the network but we not even able to get the site
setup on NT. We get the following message:
Error Site:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx says that it is not a Certificate Authority.
Check whether you have go the right IP-Address for xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, and
check with the FW-1 system manager whether xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is indeed a FW-1
control station.
We are configured with IKE encryption and using vpn/firewall passwords for
inbound.
I have looked at a lot of documentation on NT clients but it all talks about
getting NT clients logged into the domain or able to browse the domain. The
documents assume that there is a good VPN connection.
Is this a licensing issue?
