You should find the release notes to SP2 on checkpoints support site when you are given the option to download the SP.  SP2 fixes a lot of serious flaws within FireWall-1 SP1 and earlier as demonstrated by DugSong's presentation at BlackHat.

 

We have been running SP2 here internally for over a month now and have no problems.  We also use the SMTP security server with no problems.
