Just thought I would bounce this off you all ....
I have upgraded my test firewall to 4.1 SP2 ( NT 4.0 SP6a)
and am using the latest Secure Remote Clients ( 4165)
However, I am not able to connect to the firewall .
I am getting the dreaded "Unable to contact firewall" message box.
Looking at the logs, it looks like my connection is not being handled by my
remote access rule, rather it is being dropped by the lockdown rule that
stops traffic to the firewall ( the next rule down). I can resolve the
firewall host name and everything appears to be correctly setup.
My license is on my internal interface , this wasn't a problem with the 4.0
installation , but perhaps it is with the 4.1...
Any thoughts of what I should try next?
Would you re-license to the external interface?
