[FW1] "Unable to open '\Device\FW1" on Enterprise Console 4.1 SP1

I am running an Enterprise Management Console on 4.1 SP1 that manages a few FW1 modules.

 

Everything appears to be functioning perfectly with the Management console.

 

When I entered the FW STAT commend I got the following:

 

C:\>fw stat
HOST      POLICY     DATE
Unable to open '\Device\FW1': The system cannot find the file specified.
Failed to get interface list: The system cannot find the file specified.
Cannot get interface list: The system cannot find the file specified.
Failed to get interface status on localhost: The system cannot find the file spe
cified.

 

C:\>

 

Is this normal for the enterprise console because it is actually running FW1, but it isn't actually performing the function of a firewall.
