Nope, I didn't receive any file from Checkpoint. It is just a confirmation
by email. How do I get the file (.lic)?
Thanks.

In Windows you can actually add the license file sent to you by checkpoint.
Question, is the validation code the same on the email as on the GUI?

Subject: [FW1] Unable to install Evaluation license
Hi,
I'm using Checkpoint ver 4.1 SP1 on NT Server.
I got problem when installing the 30-day evaluation license. The error
message is "Failed to install the license!". I tried installing it from
Checkpoint Configuration Tools (GUI) and also from DOS prompt using the "fw
putlic" command. Both attemps failed. The license is still valid.
Can someone help me please?
Thanks.
Rusdy
