Hi Ken,

Don't know what OS you're running, but if it's NT, make sure the fwdir
environment variable is pointing to the correct installation directory for
your upgraded installation.

Subject: [FW1] fwpolicy reads wrong config directory

Hi,

We have recently installed the fwpolicy gui client on our 4.1 firewall.

This firewall was ugraded from an older version and the new

configuration files for 4.1 are in a differnet directory from the old

version. For some reason when we fire up the fwpolicy client, it reads

in the old ruleset and objects file from the previous fw1 version and

does not allow us to load the currently installed policy of the 4.1

verson.

Could anyone advise on how to configure the client to access the correct

configuration directory?

Thanks

Ken
