I would put them on the second network, option 3.
There is almost no reason for anything to have access to these boxes, so why not lock them up tight?

Hi,
What is the best place to locate my Content Security servers? I'm thinking
in three places,1. the DMZ (although the DMZ is an untrusted place)
2. the private network where are locate the users and the internal servers
3. a second private network (perhaps a internal network with the
authentication servers?)What do you think about?
