Our hw config:
Ultra server 1, 128Mb RAM and Sun quad nic
Total traffic passing the fw: approx. 4Mbps
Cpu load around 10-20%
We've no special features yet - however we want to deploy TrendMicros
Interscan Viruswall (CVP edition). I already noticed that those CVP things
like a little horsepower. In fact I'm very interested in the outcome of your
query myself, because we're about to change topology and then the fw will
have to handle 20-30Mbps at least. Also I'm looking into userbased auth. for
HTTPS - guess that needs some horsepower as well. Unfortunately Checkpoint
is not very generous with this kind of information.
May be an idea for Phoneboy's FAQ?
