Doesn't that open the gateway up?  If you change to outbound then you're not
filtering what's coming in?  You can only crank it up anyhow?  Isn't there a
way to allow a particular object NOT to timeout?

Policy ->Propertes->Securty Policy TCP Session Time-out
TCP Session Timeout - the time period after which a TCP session will be
considered to have timed out.
