One of the "trainees" in our office was given the task of installing FW-1
SP2 on a Solaris 2.7. I'm not sure how he installed it (because he wanted
to "try it without [my] help"), but he had the exact same problem.
My solution: I removed all of the Check Point packages he installed and
started over. When we did it again, it worked.
I know this may not help, but it's my $.02 worth.
