Tom,
Use NSLookup or just 'ping -a' on NT to get the domain and go to
www.whois.net. You can search there for contact and admin details of domain
names, you can also use the whois tool in UNIX. Also try www.ripe.net and
search for the ip subnet. It should give you company details on who has that
IP range.

Subject: [FW1] IP Lookups and ???
Hi all,
I have a simple question. What resources should I utilize to check up on
the IPs that get dropped from my FW? Besides an NSLOOKUP, is there anything
else I should be doing, especially after being rigorously scanned or probed
to get more info. Thanks.
