Well,
Are you on Unix? version 4.1 now requires MOTIF. (ie- they charge you for
GUI on Unix!) You can connect via an NT station, though.

Subject: [FW1] GUI Interface Error VPN-1 v4.1
Folks,
Last night I attempted to upgrade our CheckPoint VPN-1 v4.0 firewall
to the new 4.1. The install (upgrade mode as opposed to overwrite mode)
went without errors, the PUTLIC string was accepted without errors, but when
I tried to run the Management GUIs (Policy, Log, etc) I got a 'no license
for interface' error and the GUIs exited.
I have uninstalled and back running on the 4.0 successfully, but
would love to hear if anyone else has experienced this anomaly and how you
got past it.
Thanks in advance!
