As far as running the GUI client on 2000 workstation, I seem to work great. I
actually installed the GUI off of the Checkpoint 2000 Enterprise Suite v4.1. One
note, sometimes I have noticed the slow response from the GUI and you might get a msg
"Slow Response from Server: Abort Yes or No". One trick is to go to the Select Menu
from the main Log view screen, then go to Options. Uncheck the box for Resolving
Addresses. This will not try to do a reverse look up on DNS names coming into your
logs which will speed it up greatly.
