Claudio,

Just create a file called c:\utils\FWlog.cmd (or similar), in the cmd file
put in the commands...

%fw_dir%\bin\fw logswitch
move %fw_dir%\log\*-* %anydir%\oldfwlogs

Then use the Scheduler service under NT to run an 'AT' command...e.g.

at 23.59 /every:m,t,w,th,f,s,su c:\utils\FWlog.cmd

Make sure you create the relevant directory first though ;-)
Every night logs will get switched and moved to wherever you want them.

HTH,

Russell Goodwin

Subject: [FW1] FW1 Log file management

My problem is managing of the FW1 log file, I have FW1 4.1 on NT4.0 SP6a
I can't find any command to implement circular log or open newlog file at
specific time.
If I don't manualy manage the file increases indefinitely (and the disk
space decreeses).

 any idea or suggest

Thanks in advance,

Claudio
