Have you considered using VPN-1 with SecuRemote instead? Then you wouldn't
need to worry about a separate box and where to place it securely. If
SecuRemote by itself doesn't give enough of a "at their desk" feel, you
could pair it up with a PC-Anywhere-like remote access utility like Timbuktu
or VNC with SSH.
