After upgrading from 4.0 SP5 to 4.1 SP2 we've experienced some problems.
Because we're requiring the users to authenticate in order to access the
internet with user authentication, the users have setup the firewall as a
proxy server in their browsers.
It seems that this proxy function is not working in 4.1SP2. If the users are
not using the firewall as a proxy, the authentication works well, but they
must authenticate for every site they connect to. If I try to connect to the
firewall from a client (on port 80) to enter a proxy request, I cannot
establish a connection with the firewall, and I'm not dropped by any rule.
I've tried to reinstall everything, but to no help. Anyone else experienced
this?
