hi group
i have read some of the checkpoint documentation on vpns using fw-1 and
securemote.
what i want to do is as follows:
securemote client (fwz)
|
|
unknown firewall
|
|
firewall-1 (fwz)
assuming there are no proxies or nat involved in the above what traffic
would I have to request be allowed through the unknown firewall (i think
this is udp port 259) are there any others required as phoneboy mentions IP
Protocol 94 bi-directionally when FWZ encapsulation is used.)
So what I am asking is provided port 259 is opened on the unknown router and
both the securemote client and fw-1 are correectly configured, will I be
able to have an encrypted connection?
