Dear everybody,
I had a Nokia 440 running fw1 4.1 SP2 on IPSO 3.2.1.
I got the following error while trying to send out any emails:
send-mail: smtp server didn't accept MAIL From, replied "501 5.1.8
<admin@myfirewall>... Domain of sender address admin@myfirewall does
not exist". Oct 18 20:17:29 myfirewall [LOG_ERR] sSMTP mail[3090]:
smtp server didn't accept MAIL From, replied "501 5.1.8
<admin@myfirewall>... Domain of sender address admin@myfirewall does
not exist".
I figure that my firewall was not listed in any DNS that lead to
the above error message.
However, I do not want my firewall to appear in any DNS.
Is there a way to configure the mail program in IPSO to bypass
checking of domain of sender address? Or is there something
similar to the use of "Djdomain_name" in sendmail.cf of the
original sendmail program.
Thank You in advance,
Tan Meau Huat
