I have a problem with URI filtering. It goes as follows:-
I have a rule that allows certain IP addresses to go to specific sites that
I have defined using the WildCard option in URI Resources. The rule that
follows this denies these same IP addresses from accessing anything via
http.
If I define my wildcard host as the URL (e.g. business.thisisgrimsby.co.uk)
then the site is allowed OK. If I have this site as follows
{business.thisisgrimsby.co.uk,www.baa.co.uk}, the site is blocked by the
firewall and nothing is entered into the firewall log, even though I am
logging in both the resource and on the rule. The second site appears to
work fine.
I have identified a number of sites that suffer with this problem whilst
others are fine. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you
resolve it?
