A vendor has supplied us with Bay Networks' Extranet Access Client to set up a VPN to there server. We have installed it on a client and set up rules to allow the IPsec traffic to pass both ways. The client is using an unregistered address so static NAT has been set up as well. The ISAKMP/IKE handshake works fine but the IPsec traffic on protocol 50 (ESP) does not. snoop and the firewall logs show the firewall accepting IPsec responses from the remote server but they do not get forwarded on to the client.
