I have been asked a question by one of our users which I was unable to
answer.
First let me explain the scenario.
The user is installing software on their machine that will need to do
automatic update thru the web. We use authentication on our firewall, with
is a Nokia IP330 running FW-1 4.1 sp1.
What the user wants to know is, for the auth information for the proxy, on
his software, it wants to know what type of proxy we are using? The choices
are socks 3, 4.x 5.
What should I choose?
