You license for the number of protected nodes.
Technically, it's not how many nodes you physically have,
but the number you _may_ be protecting.
In your case, you'll have an external interface and an
internal interface. The software will watch for and count
all of the IP addresses it see's coming across the internal
interface. If you add NIC's to your system, any IP's on
those interfaces will be counted also. IOW, it will monitor
all non-external interfaces for host IP which it may be
protecting.
