 The first FW is on a Sun Ultra 10, I can't copy this. On Solaris is the conf/ and database/ directories? I don't have found the local.arp file on my Sun.

On NT:

Install firewall-1 on a new machine, stop Firewall-1 service, copy over thw c:\winnt\fw directory.  The only thing left to do is to make sure you modify the c:\winnt\fw\state\local.arp file to fit with your other NIC MAC address.

Also make sure you have setup all the static routes;  I usually use a batch file to do that and change the default gateway IP of course.

Hi,

I want to set up 2nd Firewall-1 server for backup purpose.  How can I
migrate all the configuration of original Firewall-1 server to the 2nd one ?
My Firewall-1 is ver 4.1. The 2on Firewall-1 must be an WinNt box or a RH6.2
box. Which you recomend?
