The issue of network security has come up with our legal department. One
more than one occasion I have sent fwinfo, tcpdump, fw -debug, network
diagrams and other configuration files/information to the Checkpoint support
engineers and the bench. The need to have a Checkpoint engineer actually
GUI in to our firewall has come up a couple of times. In my opinion this
information is sufficient for anyone knowledgeable with Checkpoint FW1 to
hack into our network and access confidential data. Not to mention the
possibility of someone intercepting this information as it traverses the
Internet on its way to Checkpoint.

We decided to get a Mutual Nondisclosure Agreement signed between CheckPoint
and our company. However, Checkpoint refused to sign it and countered with
their own Agreement which is presently in review. The issue that Checkpoint
is based in Israel has been raised. A Mutual Nondisclosure Agreement may
not protect our US Based company from the Israel based company.

Questions:

Do you think there is a real concern?
What is your company's policy regarding firewall configuration and other
confidential network information?
Is there any information that you would not share with Checkpoint Support
Engineers?
Do you have a Mutual Nondisclosure Agreement in place?

Thanks!
