Subject: [FW1] Logging into GUI only - not into management server?

I saw this on a course, but lost the piece of paper I noted it on....

Basically, it was possible by entering some specific things into the FW-1
policy editor gui to login to the GUI only and not attach to the management
server - this made it possible to play around with the GUI if a management
server wasn't available.
Can anyone help me with what this was?

tia

Dave
