Hi,
What I did is:
1) Install FW-1 on the new machine
2) FWSTOP on the old machine and in the CONF directory make a copy of the
following files:
objects.C
*.W
rulebases.fws
fwauth.NDB
3) FWSTOP on new machine and copy the files
4) FWSTART on new machine
5) Check your rules and objects
Good luck

Objet [FW1] Re-installing FW-1 on a new machine
:
Hi There,
I need to re-install FW-1 4.1 on a highend WinNT machine. How can I minimise
my work. Is there a policy file which I would only move to the new machine
and get the same policy base running? Or any other config file which will
carry all of the objects defined in the old machine, I whould just move it
to the new machine and it whould have the same objects defined. Thank you
all in advance.
Manzar
