Ivan,
VNC is not sending the initial user id+password in clear text
(http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/faq.html), but after that nothing is
encoded/encrypted only compressed.
There are several ways to achieve encryption:
1. Securemote / Secureclient
2. ssh+vnc http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/sshvnc.html
3. stunnel+vnc http://www.stunnel.org/
