Do you have a better machine as a backup? A bit strange... :-P
What kind of backup are you setting up? If you are setting up a cluster, you
could run in a problem, but it depends on the solution you're using.
If you have your backup just as a spare machine to do a "by hand failover"
;-),
then I think the interface names doesn't matter.
