Hi,
We are using the Firewall-1 smtp server for inbound and outbound
messages, everything is working find.
But i'm wondering if there is a setting that we can adjust, so that
after four hour of retrying the users receive
a warning email that the firewall is having problems sending their email
and that it's continuing send it.
I'm not talking about the abandon_time, that is, by default set to
432000, i don't want to change that
setting. Because, let say i put the abandon_time at four hour, the
firewall will stop trying to send problematic
email after that four hour, that's not good because imagine all the
bounced messages, not every email are sent
at the first try, there can be many reasons the delivry of the message
have to be retried, that's why i want to keep
the abandon-time to 432000s (5days) and have a warning email after four
hour, like sendmail does.
Thank you!
