I am trying to set up a VPN over the internet to send MQ messages. In the
FW1 logs, every minute I see the following error between the 2 firewalls:
IKE Log Received Notification from Peer - no proposal chosen.
I am sending a test MQ message to the other host every 7 minutes. In the
FW1 logs whenever a host tries to send an MQ message, I see:
encryption failure no response from peer. scheme IKE.
I am trying to use a preshared secret, IKE, MD5.
I looked around on phoneboy, but did not find much when searching for
proposal. Any help is appreciated!
