on the log viewer console :
select -> option -> check the address resolving box
then, you will see only IP addresses.

Subject: [FW1] FW-1 log question
Hello. One of my CP FW modules (4.1 sp2) is running on Solaris 7 (also with
the Management Console). When I look at the log with the Windows log viewer
I see entries where the origin is sometimes listed as the IP address and
sometimes as the hostname for the same interface. Can I correct this so it
will be only one or the other? Thanks.
