We are still awaiting an answer from Checkpoint on the following question: Is there a way to use multiple tacacs servers on your firewall for user authentication? Example, if tacacs1 server fails can the firewall provide a means to then roll over to tacas2 server for authentication? We use the user name generic* in our user database which can only point to one tacacs server for authentication. What if tacas1 server is down and we want the users to fail over to another tacas server for authentication? Can anyone provide a solution or an alternate method? It would be much appreciated. Ben S.
