Rodney,
You can stop the service without any issues as long as you are not logging
from things like RealSecure, or any other 3rd party product that can log to
the firewall's log daemon.

I keep getting ELA Server log redirects in my log file.
I notice that the log server (the actual firewall) keeps showing messages
that the "Log Server 127.0.0.1" went down.
Is this a result of the ELA Proxy service running (NT)? Can I stop that
service and, more importantly, will it help or hurt me? This happens
several times during the day - very frustrating.
