I've got the same problem (same configuration but with SP2), I checked the task
manager and I found that the problem is related to "cpmad" task (it's the task
performing Malicious Activity Detection). It's memory usage should be blocked
under 75000 KB (by default), but as I see it is not.
Waiting for a bug fix I wonder whether we could just restart that process from
time to time without stopping the whole thing or this could cause problems. Any
suggestion?
Thanks
Michele

Subject: [FW1] Memory Leak
Does anyone know if there is a problem with a memory leak with CP 4.1 SP3 on
NT SP6a. Everyday the memory utilization is creeping up. If we do not do
an fwstop/fwstart we start to have problems and the memory utilization keeps
growing until the CPU utilizations lock at 95%...
We are using HTTP Security Server(SS), SMTP SS, B2B VPNs , and Secure
Remote. Lots of NAT and about 65 Rules. Also, it happens on both
firewalls.
Thanks in advance!
