May there also be a problem with the onboard ethernet-port?
Powering on the machine there's a link on the switch, as soon as it comes to
the interface-configuration during boot the link is gone.
The interface is UP afterwards.
Doing IFCONFIG HME0 DOWN will bring the link back, but of course the interface
down ;-(
Having the interface up and no link, no ping is possible?!
