There is a timeout you can set only for the communication between the Firewall and the UFP_server but I do not think this is what you are talking about. This is a fail-over option if the UFP_Server is not responding.
I have never heard of the http sec. server not working after a certain amount of time. What are the symptom details ? What FW-1 version and Websense versions are you using.

Our platform: Sol 2.6 on SPARC
We are testing Websense and, if there is no traffic in a 12:00 hour window,
FW1's daemon (ahttpd) stops working. Is there a setup for
time-outs/keepalives other then the one for TCP connection, set by default
at 3,600 sec.?
