We have a new CORBA-based application which uses servers located behind a
firewall (FW-1 version 4.0).
Developers used Boland's VisiBroker for this application, and defined a udp
port 14000 for control messages. Any tcp port (above 1024) could be used for
a tcp connections.
FW-1 version 4.0 does not have IIOP service defined, and we have to define a
new IIOP service.
I found an "IIOP Installation Instructions" on a CheckPoint's site, but it
is made for orbix daemon, not VisiBroker.
Also, $FWDIR/lib/base.def contains a iiop_prolog and a iiop_prematch, and I
am not very sure what could be used in this particular situation.
Does anybody have some experience with this?
