I've got a VPN with an NT box (4.1 SP3) on one side (full T1 to the 'net),
and a pair of clustered IP330's (4.1 SP2, IPSO 3.3) on the other (100MBps
feeds co-located). The VPN uses IKE with 3DES.
FTP transfers between hosts on each side run at more than 150KB/s. That's
quite acceptable.
NetBIOS transfers between hosts on each side run at around 3KB/s (yes,
that's three thousand bytes per second).
Obviously, it's got something to do with NetBIOS. But I have no idea where
to go from here. Any pointers?
