Hi.. Dear all,
My solaris box's default run level was set to run level 3. My question are
1. when I am booting the solaris box, will it go thru run level S, 2 before
go into run level 3?
2. I want to add a permanent route table in the server so I added a entry
in /etc/rc2.d/S72inetsvc file as "/usr/sbin/route add -host 50.100.3.1
10.168.3.1 1" what I understand is when the server go to run level 2, it
will add the route entry, is it true? But if my server is set to run level
3, then will it still add the route entry? If it cannot add the route
entry, how can we add the route entry in run level 3?
3. if I create a file called S95routeadd in /etc/rc2.d directory and its
contain the entry "/usr/sbin/route add -host 50.100.3.1 10.168.3.1 1" then
will it add the route entry when the server boot up.
