That all depends on your uplink and the degree of usage of vpns and security
servers. Check Point has actually made SOME headway in the Security Server arena
with 4.1. Abilities now with even vpns to do some rudimentary processor load
distribution (spawning multiple copies of a process, binding individual to separate
cpu's, and having a routine running in the fw code that mux's and demux's data for
the queue.)
The disk space and memory will have the largest effect, and in truth, the memory
will have the greatest. You may want to check out the fw1 tuning document via
