Mike:
     It resides whereever the authentication is taking place. If you have your
users authenticating to the FireWall itself then the node secret (stored in the
file named securid) will reside on the FireWall. The place to look is in
/var/ace.

We are planning to roll out an ACE server.  We have a distributed
Checkpoint environment, separate management and enforcement modules.  My
question is where does the node secret reside on FW-1.

Does it reside on the Management station or on the enforcement module or both?
